1.) How many people do I need to get group insurance?
  A: In Missouri, just 2 people can constitute a group.
   
2.) How much do you charge to help me get insurance?
  A: In almost all cases there is no additional cost for using a broker, versus working with a carrier directly. Cost for each group or individual is case specific, and varies depending carrier and benefits chosen--as well as possible other products, benefits, and options we offer.
   
3.) How long will it take to get coverage? How soon can I get coverage?
  A: It depends on when we begin the enrollment process, but most carriers are able to get coverage established within two to three weeks.
   
4.) What is a drug formulary?
  A: A list of the drugs covered by a given carrier, and what tier that drug falls under for said carrier.
   
5.) How do I go about getting insurance?
  A: That’s what we’re here for! Let us take the headache and confusion out of finding yourself or your company a competitive, comprehensive, and affordable benefits package. Call us with all of your questions and concerns, and we will get you answers and results.
   
6.) What is a late enrollee?
  A: A Late Enrollee is a person who enrolled more than 31 days after first becoming eligible for coverage and who was not eligible to be a Special Enrollee.
   
7.) Who is eligible for group insurance?
  A: It varies a little, depending on the group size and plan specifications, but generally, to be eligible for group coverage you must be an owner, or an active employee employed by the plan sponsor.
   
8.) Where can I get info on FMLA, HIPAA, or COBRA/State Continuation?
  A: You can go to our “links” page on this website, and there are links to the state and federal departments who address these issues. Or, if you wish, you can contact us, and if we can’t answer it ourselves, we’ll get you an answer.
   
9.) Should I get an HSA or HRA?
  A: It depends on what you are looking for from your insurance for you and/or your employees. We would be happy to sit down with you and address whether or not one of these would best fit you/your company’s specific needs.
   
10.) Does group health insurance costs less than individual health insurance?
  A: No. Individual health insurance is usually less expensive. However, individual health insurance policies have disadvantages, such as less healthy people being rejected.
